I love everything about autumn except the fact that it means winter will soon be here. I love the feeling of the fall air, the cool mornings and the sunny after noons. Our family had be able to spend some time together and enjoy the beautiful weather. Kristyn's teacher had invited us to go with her family to some pretty fun places. We went to the dinosaur museum a couple of weeks ago. It is hard to imagine how huge dinosaurs really were until you stand next to them. The kids had a great time digging for dinosaur bones.
We were also able to go to the scarecrow festival. The kids enjoyed the large slides and the haunted house. I was able to get some fun pictures while we were there.

Every time I think of fall, I am reminded of a song on a Barney movie Kristyn liked when she was very little. (I'm sure she secretly still watches it.)
"I like to roll in the leaves, feel the cool breeze, stuff a scarecrow top to bottom. You can call it fall if that's what you please, but I like autumn."
