Sydney turns 6

We celebrated Sydney's birthday a week early this year, because of Grandma Thygerson's funeral. We had her birthday on Father's day instead. Sydney wanted nothing more for her birthday but a baby doll. She was so excited when so got a baby alive. She loves it. We decided not to make a cake but to do cupcakes. The kids had a great time decorating them. It was such a fun day. I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting.

Family reunion of sorts

Just recently Bristol's sweet grandma Thygerson passed away. It was a blessing though, she missed her husband so much. We were able to make to trip to Arizona for the funeral. It was a great opportunity to see Bristol's family. It has been a long time since we have been there and Bristol was missing his family. He kids had such a fun time spending time with their cousins. Blayne followed Case around calling him " his new friend." He couldn't remember his name the whole time we were there. He still calls him his best friend. It was such a long trip down there but the kids did great. They all got car sick but Sydney was the worst. On the way home we had to stop every 5 minutes. (no kidding every five minutes) so she could walk around and feel better. Hopefully we can make it back down to Arizona soon and not have to wait for a funeral.

Stitches

Of course we make it through 3 girls never needing stiches, then there's Blayne. He has already needed three sets of stiches. On June 14, he was helping Bristol in the garage and fell off the stairs. He cut his head open above his eye and on the bridge of his nose. It is pretty sad when Insta-care actually know who we are by name.

Blayne's on Two Wheels

I went out to the garage (a few weeks ago June 9th) and Blayne had successfully removed to training wheels from his own bike. Blayne knows his way around a tool box. He decided he was ready to ride by himself. I held up his bike so he could get on, and off he went. He was right! He was ready to ride without the training wheels. Of course there were a few bumps and falls before the night was over but he did a great job.

Last Day of school

I know I'm a little behind. I am finally posting the last day of school. Kristyn's class spent the day reading stories and playing fun games like "murder mystery" I don't think Kristyn would of liked it too much if I would have made her pose for a picture with her teacher. (Mr. Brunner) I did manage to get some pictures of her class and a few friends.

Kaley's class mostly cleaned up the room and said goodbye to each other. Kaley had her friends sign her yearbook so they would be able to call each other this summer. Kaley's teacher was Mrs. Hartley

Sydney's class had a party. They wore hula skirts and played limbo. Blayne and I spent most of our time there with Sydney. Sydney loved her teacher Mrs. Leonard so much. we are really going to miss her next year.

Fishing in Herriman

Fishing in Herriman
Kaley's big one. Kaley didn't have the patience to cast and wait for the fish to bite. I'm not sure how she managed to leave the pole in the water long enough to catch anything.

Kristyn fishing (kind of)

Kristyn fishing (kind of)
I think Kristyn would rather sit back and relax, and stay as far away from the fish as possible

Sydney' fish

Sydney' fish
Sydney was getting tired of fishing so she was reeling in the line to pack up and go home. She couldn't beleive it that there was a fish attached to the end of the pole

Blayne was ready for fishing before anyone

Blayne is quite the fishing pro. He has his own spiderman pole and his fishing hat.
