We are finally entering the blogging world

After much convincing from my family we are creating our family blog. I am not sure what has taken me so long. I wasn't sure where to start and it kind of seemed over whelming. The kids really wanted to have a blog since everyone we know has started one, and they enjoy keeping up with what the family has been up to. Sydney checks the blogs everyday. She loves looking at the pictures of her friends and her cousins.

Sydney started riding the school bus last week and loves it. She is ready 2o minutes early just to make sure she catches the bus. She is becoming so grown up, but is starting to get the attitude that comes with that. I guess with two older sisters that had to be coming soon.

Blayne started pre-school last week also. The first two days went kind of rough, but now he is loving it. On Friday he said, "alright mom, I think you should go now, I can do this by myself." he walked right into class and his teacher (Mr. Tim) said he did great!!

Last night Blayne and Sydney were having a hard time with bedtime. Niether one wanted any part of it. Bristol said they had to either had to go to bed or make his lunch. Blayne and Sydney were so excited to make his lunch. (Bristol thought they would for sure pick going to bed.) Next thing I knew Blayne was on the counter with a butter knife and Sydney was handing him the bread, jam and soy butter. ( Blayne still thinks it is peanut butter and won't even try it) They made the cutest sandwiches. Most of the peanut butter was on the sandwich bags, not on the bread. They cut them into fourths so Bristol would have a bigger lunch, that way he has 8 sandwiches.

I can hardly believe summer is almost here. Kristyn told me this morning that they have only 18 more days of school. They get out May 30. Kristyn said she can hardly wait, because then she won't have to get up early to practice piano. I informed her, that we will still be getting up to practice, but they can sleep in until 7:00. I don't think that was the answer she was looking for. She said she'd rather be in school.
Kaley on the other hand doesn't want school to end, she loves chasing the boys at recess, and doesn't want to see that end. ( I guess I had that coming, my mom said she wished that on me, I would spend most of my recesses chasing the boys too.)

Fishing in Herriman

Fishing in Herriman
Kaley's big one. Kaley didn't have the patience to cast and wait for the fish to bite. I'm not sure how she managed to leave the pole in the water long enough to catch anything.

Kristyn fishing (kind of)

Kristyn fishing (kind of)
I think Kristyn would rather sit back and relax, and stay as far away from the fish as possible

Sydney' fish

Sydney' fish
Sydney was getting tired of fishing so she was reeling in the line to pack up and go home. She couldn't beleive it that there was a fish attached to the end of the pole

Blayne was ready for fishing before anyone

Blayne is quite the fishing pro. He has his own spiderman pole and his fishing hat.
